Haise Sasaki: REality

                                                                     "Kankei dont leave me....."


You woke up from your nightmare (which was sadly a true event that did occur 2 years ago) and got up from your bed sitting on it with your hands holding your forehead placing your elbows on your thighs

You sobbed a little but realising that crying was not going to get Kaneki back you got up and rose your head wiping the tears

'Atleast I have Sasaki right?' You thought while heading towards the bathroom

You got ready and headed outside just to get some fresh air since you really needed it. After walking around Tokyo for 3 hours you decided to head back home seeing the black and white haired man sitting on the couch reading a book

"Oh ummm hey I didnt realise you were back"

You spoke going into the kitchen to place the butter in the fridge which you bought during your little outing

"Yeah I got let out earliy for good behaviour" He chirped acting as if he was an inmate at some prision even though he was clearly talking about the CCG

"I see" You bluntly replied

You walked to the living room and sat on the couch next to Sasaki, he put his book away and looked at you placing his finger underneath your chin so that you can face him

"You dont deserve her" That voice told him but he just ignored it

"Whats wrong?" He questioned because he knew something was up with you

You looked down for a bit and then back up at him

"Dont you want to talk about your past so you can at least——"

"(y/n) dont start this again—" He warned

"But its not fair, how can you live like this?!" You raised your voice

" You act exactly like Kane—"

"DONT YOU SAY THAT NAME!" He yelled getting up from the couch

"Im sure you question yourself whether Kaneki was a good guy or not? you probably even wonder how his name is spelt"

You retorted back while getting up from your current position. Sasaki approached you with anger in his eyes only being a few centemeteres away from your face

"I am Sasaki Haise" He pointed out with such bitterness

Your eyes started to tear up and he could see that this topic was hurting the both of you.

"But—"

"(Y/N) shutup, how many times do I have to tell you to drop it?!"

" Dont tell me to shut up, I will not drop it till I get my point across what the CCG are doing to you is selfish!" You yelled

"I feel like you still love Kaneki"

You were taken aback by what he said, you looked to the side so that you didnt have to look at him

"What? No I—"

"Whatever I dont care, youve been nothing but a burden to me anyways (y/n). Im done" He quitely told you

You shot back at him to see his bangs covering his eyes

'Im a burden?'

You couldnt say anything so you tried to reach out for him but he could feel you trying to touch him with that he turned around and left the apartment

"Like I said you dont deserve her"

"GET OUT OF MY HEAD!" Sasaki raged putting his hands in his hair and giving it a tight hold

His legs gave in and fell to the ground sobbing lightly. He knew he didnt mean those words he said, the truth was he felt like he was being a burden by acting like a couple even though it didnt feel like you loved him

You were frozen from shock with your hand still in that same position from trying to reach out to Sasaki until some tears started to fall down

"I feel like you still love kaneki"

Those words still echoed through your head

You dropped on your knees and more tears started to flow, you do love Sasaki
